*** Recent developments on the ground***
Assad’s helicopters conducted overflights over the city and dropped 3 barrel bombs one residential areas in the city centre and the western area. As a result, one child was killed and a number of civilians were injured. Meanwhile, several areas in the city were hit with sporadic shelling from heavy artillery, rocket launchers and mortars while Shilka machineguns fired at buildings on the Old Corniche road. The shelling came from Fourth Division Mountains and roadblocks surrounding the city.
The city’s combat fronts witnessed skirmishes and mutual sniper operations. Two regime fighters were killed in the vicinity of Sukaina ‘Shrine’

***Humanitarian and living conditions***
The besieged people of Daraya have been suffering for fifteen months amidst a total lack of humanitarian, medical and food supplies. Over 6,000 civilians including 600 children and 50 new born babies are living inside the siege.
The displaced people of Daraya are facing exceeding difficulties due to difficult living conditions prevailing generally in the western countryside of Damascus in addition to security persecution of people from Daraya on all military roadblocks and government departments.
