¤ Hama City:
Regime forces at the Hama Military Airport launched multiple strikes onto the suburbs of the city early this morning, as military aircraft were seen flying over the city. Security forces deployed in a number of neighborhoods, and residents were stopped and searched at the fixed checkpoints, in addition to "pop-up" checkpoints throughout the city. Fully munitioned forces were spotted in al-Mugheela neighborhood, searching passersby and cars driving through the area. In the late afternoon, regime forces raided Janoob al-Mal'aab neighborhood in a number of armored vehicles.
In the recent past, regime forces have stolen tens of cars from the residents of Hama, which are used to transport forces and ammunition. When a car is taken, its owner is instructed to check with a security branch after a certain period of time so he can repossess it.
¤ Suburbs of Hama:
Eastern Suburbs:
Late last night, opposition fighters liberated al-Sha'eta village, as clashes took place at the outskirts of al-Tlaiseyeh village. Regime aircraft bombarded a number of areas, included Masoud village and Eqeirbat. In Salamieh, regime forces continue to carry out arbitrary arrests.
Northern Suburbs:
A number of villages in the northern suburbs of Hama continually face bombardment amid ongoing clashes between regime and opposition forces at various checkpoints in the regime.
Western Suburbs:
Different parts of Al-Ghab Plain continue to witness shelling on a daily basis. Today, al-Hawweeja was shelled from the Joureen checkpoint, and al-Hamra was shelled from al-Nahl checkpoint in Sqailbeya. Qal'at al-Madeeq was also subject to shelling by regime forces today.
In the evening, the regime's bombardment of al-Ghab Plain continued. A large military convoy stormed Taman'at al-Ghab village, which was simultaneously subject to shelling from Joureen and al-Nahl. Al-Hawweeja was shelled with rockets in the evening again, pushing residents to flee their homes amid a power outage.
Southern Suburbs:
The towns of Aqrab and Harbnafse continue to witness artillery shelling from checkpoints in nearby pro-regime villages.
Taldura Village:
The National Defense Forces arrested Khsara al-Freej and his two sons, and confiscated his car.
Soran:
Artillery and aerial shelling of Soran was reported amid clashes between regime and opposition forces at the al-Makateb checkpoint.
Helfaya:
