|| Situation in Hama and its Suburbs ||
¤ Hama City:
Today, Assad regime forces raided al-Faraya and al-Barazeyeh, where they raided houses and made some arrests. Smoke was seen rising from the neighborhoods, with reports that the regime forces set a house in al-Faraya on fire.
Also this morning, regime forces in a Jeep and in a cab raided Burhan Market in al-Hader.
¤ Suburbs of Hama:
Northern Suburbs:
Clashes between regime and opposition forces at al-Hamameyat checkpoint continue. Today, FSA fighters destroyed a tank at the checkpoint as helicopters hovered overhead. A helicopter dropped at least 10 explosive barrels on farmlands west of Kafarzeita, close to al-Hamameyat. Kafarzeita also witnessed artillery shelling in the evening.
The Free Syrian Army also launched attacked on Salhab and al-Sqailbeya using Grad missiles.
Eastern Suburbs:
Helicopters dropped barrels of explosives on the Eqeirbat area and on al-Mkaimen village
Al-Ghab Plain:
This evening, intense mortar, artillery and tank shelling of al-Hurreya and al-Hwaiz villages reportedly left a number of people wounded, some of them in critical condition. Al-Hawwash village was shelled with rockets, leaving a number of others wounded as well.
