|| Situation in Hama and its Suburbs ||
¤ Hama City:
Military aircraft were seen flying over the city as security forces deployed throughout Hama to prevent people from holding protests after Friday prayer. Security forces were spotted in al-Qusour neighborhood, especially by Abdulrahman ibn Awf Mosque, during Friday prayer, as other forces roamed around the neighborhood in patrol vehicles.
Security forces in al-Sabouneya and al-Eleileyat neighborhoods also surrounded al-Falah, al-Eman and al-Shuhadaa Mosques in armored vehicles and other cars. They roamed the streets and stopped and searched passersby.
Regime forces throughout the city have been asking people passing through checkpoints for money on the occasion of Eid as well.
For the forth consecutive day, they stormed al-Shaikh Anbar and Wadi al-Hawarneh, where they raided houses.
In the evening:
At around 7:30 p.m., regime forces entered al-Hasaneyat neighborhood in an armored vehicle, and arrested a refugee from Homs after hitting him with the butt of a title. They also hit a number of children in the neighborhood.
¤ Suburbs of Hama:
There is a spread of disease and illness in the suburbs of Hama amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions due to the shortage of medicine, medical supplies and medical staff.
Western Suburbs:
Last night, regime forces stormed Taman'at al-Ghab village amid intense gunfire.
Al-Eweineh:
The town was subject to artillery shelling from the sugar factory in Salhab.
Northern Suburbs:
Intense clashes broke out between regime and opposition forces at a number of checkpoints in the area today, including al-Hamameyat, al-Jdeeda and al-Jesr. Large portions of al-Jesr checkpoint were liberated, and al-Jesr checkpoint was totally liberated after more than 10 days of battle. The fighters destroyed a number of regime tanks
Kafranbooda:
Kafranbooda was subject to heavy and indiscriminate rocket shelling from the Tal Othman and al-Mugheer checkpoints.
Soran:
Regime forces raided the northern neighborhood of Soran in a tank, and they searched a number of houses searching for armed fighters
Al-Latamne:
Residents of the town held an anti-regime protest after Friday prayer
Eastern Suburbs:
This morning, FSA forces launched an attack on Rasm al-Ali village and struck the checkpoint with tank shells, killing and injuring tens of regime forces.
Tal al-Tout Village:
The National Defense Forces arrested Mansour and Moayad Zawdeh from their house in Tal al-Tout village this morning
