*** Recent developments on the ground***
Regime forces targeted the city’s residential neighbourhoods with rocket and artillery shelling on the first day of Al Adha Eid in the early morning; seven injuries were reported, some of them are children were heading to the mosque to attend Eid prayer. Four raids were conducted against the twin cities of Daraya and Muaddamiya causing further destruction.
Rabia Deeb Al Hallak died today in Al Ramtha Hospital after 3-month suffering from splinter injuries; she received the injury during shelling on Khan Alshieh in Damascus Suburbs; she tried to receive medical care in Jordan, but she was not allowed in until last night as she had a heart attack while waiting at the border.
***Humanitarian situation***
The city is going through impossibly difficult humanitarian and living conditions amid a tight siege that has been in place since the start of the current campaign. The city is completely without potable water, electricity, flour and is running extremely low on medical supplies.
The displaced people of Daraya are also suffering horrific living conditions in the areas where they live amid high prices and severe shortages in supplies.
