*** Recent developments on the ground***
The city of Daraya was shelled today by artillery batteries located on Muaddamiya Mountains and tanks based around the city. The shelling which targeted the western area and the Old Corniche in the eastern area caused further destruction to buildings and neighbourhoods. Intermittent clashes between FSA and regime forces broke out in several fonts, along with mutual sniper operations.
Fallen Heroes:
Emad Abou Muhammad – died while defending his country in Abou Jreen village in Aleppo Suburbs on October 11th 2013.
Qutaiba Abou Muhammad - died while defending his country in Othman village in Daraa on October 11th 2013.

*** Humanitarian situation***
After 10 months of tight siege on the two neighbouring cities of Daraya and Muaddamiya, the need is ever more urgent for essential supplies like food, medicine and even potable water. All power, communications and internet services have also been cut off. 
The displaced people from both cities continue to suffer in the western suburbs of Damascus due to continual shelling, security forces harassment, and arrest campaigns launched by regime forces. Inside Damascus, security forces are cracking down on most displaced people especially those who come from Daraya or Muaddamiya.
