|| Situation in Hama and its Suburbs ||
¤ Hama City:
This morning, a convoy of seven pick up trucks, four Jeeps, and two vans from the national security branch headed toward al-Souq area. Two cars filled with shabiha were seen roaming around al-Alamain Street, where they stopped and searched a number of course. Munitioned security forces also deployed in al-Eleileyat neighborhood, while security forces were also seen in Janoob al-Thakaneh and al-Mahatta, where they stopped cars amid gunfire.
Al-Mugheela neighborhood also witnessed a spread of regime forces amid arbitrary gunfire aimed at frightening residents. At around 3 p.m., security forces stormed Kazo neighborhood and faded and searched house. They confiscated a well digger that was being used to dig a well in the neighborhood.
Regime forces also surrounded al-Shree'a orchards from the direction of al-Qusour neighborhood. They were in five pick-ups, one of which was wonted with a machine gun. In Bab al-Balad and al-Faraya, security forces deployed in al-Taweel Market and were there from the afternoon until the evening. The two neighborhoods witnessed a campaign of raids and arrests for the third consecutive day.
In the evening:
Intense anti-aircraft artillery fire was reported in the area surrounding the Hama Military Airport this evening, and a number of explosions shook the city. Opposition fighters attacked the Harash checkpoint in al-Ta'awuneya neighborhood, with reports of casualties among the shabiha at the checkpoint. Gunfire was heard from various checkpoints throughout the city.

Kafranbooda was subject to rocket and artillery shelling this morning.
Eastern Suburbs:
Helicopters dropped explosive barrels on the Eqeirbat area, creating large amounts of damage and leaving a number of people dead.
Kernaz:
Assad regime forces in Kernaz executed at least five people today, by way of firing squad or slaughter with knives.
Northern Suburbs:
Artillery shelling from the Deir Mharde checkpoint onto Tal Melh and al-Jalma was reported amid clashes between regime and opposition forces at the Shalyout checkpoint. Also, regime forces at the Abboud and Lahaya checkpoints stopped passersby, disrupting the flow of travelers.
Kafarzeita:
For the 22nd consecutive day, the city of Kafarzeita was without bread. This is because regime officials have stopped the distribution of flour to the city. The city has also been without electricity for five days, and water is rare.
This evening, rockets were fired from the Hama Military Airport toward Kafarzeita, leaving two people dead, with reports of a third person who died and five who were injured. Rocket shelling from al-Mugheer checkpoint was also reported.
