Local Council of the City of Qatana / Media Bureu Daily Roundup of events in and around the city of Qatana for Monday, Thilqiadeh 3/ 1434 corresponding to September 9, 2013

#Qatana:

The city witnessed frequent deployment of security gangs during the day in each of Galaa Square , near Amal Aloroubah school, in Ghalayini Square and along the road to Alterbeh( graveyard) checkpoint, where the owners of cars parked on the main road in these areas were asked to take them away . The same deployment took place between Ameen Ameen School and the clinic. In the afternoon the deployment was repeated near Ghalayini Mosque towards the Land Registry. Whereas in the evening , it was at the slope of Hallalah. Some military moves were also observed to and from the tenth division , in conjunction with the outage of the power supply for a period of 3 hours . As usual, sounds of shelling from the surrounding divisions targeting the neighboring areas were heard in the evening.

The farms of Khan Esheih were exposed missile launchers' bombing last midnight and deadly fires broke out at Abbassa farms , in addition to launching optical bombs near Alsalam Highway towards the end of Saeed Street in conjunction with sporadic clashes in Drousha .While today, the situation was calm in the camp and usual movement was observed . Tight seige on the camp has continued for more than two weeks, where the closure of the road leading to the camp and the difficulty in obtaining food and bread continued.
