|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
The water outage in Hama city continues for the 15th consecutive day, and residents continue to suffer as a result. Many military and civilian aircraft were seen flying to and from the Hama Military Airport, and in the evening, three missiles were fired from there toward the countryside.
This morning, security forces deployed in al-Souq area, where three pick-up trucks with mounted machine guns and a truck with stolen motorbikes was spotted. They headed to Bab Qibli and al-Shaikh Anbar, and a number of arrests were made. Regime forces also deployed in Janoob al-Thakaneh, Tareeq Halab and Janoob al-Mal'aab. People were stopped and searched at various checkpoints, including in al-Qusour and Bab al-Jesr.
In the evening, security forces deployed in al-Karameh neighborhood.
¤ Hama Countryside:
Qal'at al-Madeeq:
Residents have returned to their homes as shelling has calmed, but the humanitarian situation continue to be grim, as shabiha in Sqailbeya have blocked the passage of staple items into the city. The regime is not letting fuel or flour into the city. Also, as the vegetable market was recently shelled, it has been shut.
Hurreya Village:
Heavy rocket launcher shelling from al-Aziziya and al-Qahera was reported
Eastern Hama Countryside - Abu Hanaya Village:
Myassar al-Ramyan, a resident of Abu Hanaya, was kidnapped by Popular Committee forces in Salamieh yesterday, August 30.
Northern Hama Countryside:
Artillery shelling from the regime checkpoint between Tayebt al-Imam and M'aardes toward al-Zuwar area was reported.
Western Hama Countryside:
A convoy of about 70 military vehicles was seen moving toward Alawite villages in Hama's western suburbs, passing through al-Zyara village.
Kafarzeita:
This evening, regime forces at the Deir Mharde and Khazanat checkpoint fired artillery shells toward farmlands near Kafarzeita as military aircraft flew overhead toward the north.
Aqrab:
Rocket shelling of the city was reported this evening
