|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
On a daily basis, Hama is subject to raids by regime forces. Today, regime forces raided al-Bayad and Karm al-Horani and shabiha stormed al-Madineh neighborhood and beat a number of young men. Gunfire was heard as well. Regime forces also deployed throughout Wadi al-Hawarneh.
A temporary checkpoint was erected near the Faisal al-Rokbi Roundabout, at which cars were searched. Regime forces were seen roaming around the industrial area.
A water outage in some parts of the city continues for the third day.
¤ Hama Countryside:
Akash Village:
Warplane shelling of Akash with cluster bombs was reported amid artillery shelling intermittently.
Khattab Village:
Regime forces raided Khattab and launched a campaign of arrests.
Al-Mufakker Village:
A regime warplane misfired onto a regime military convoy today, leaving a number of people dead or wounded.
Northern Hama Countryside:
Artillery shelling of al-Ghab Plain and Shahshabo Mountain from al-Nahl checkpoint was reported.
Al-Hawwash:
Heavy artillery and rocket shelling of the village was reported, leaving a number of people wounded.
Eastern Hama Countryside:
Heavy shelling of Hama's eastern suburbs from the Rahjan checkpoint was reported, including on Qasr ibn Wardan and Rasm al-Ward and Tuffaha.
Kafranbooda:
Heavy artillery and rocket shelling of Kafranbooda was reported from all checkpoints in the area, setting fields on fire.
Aqrab:
Aqrab was subject to rocket shelling from checkpoints in nearby towns
M'aardes:
Assad regime forces raided M'aardes amid heavy gunfire, and chased two young men on a motorcycle and shot at them. Initial reports say the men were captured, but we haven't received their names.
Kafarzeita:
Regime forces at the Tal al-Hamameyat checkpoint fired explosive bullets onto the farmlands adjacent to Kafarzeita today.
