Calm prevailed in most of Daraya’s neighbourhoods and fronts, and was interrupted only by skirmishes between FSA and regime fighters amid continuing sniper operations. More reinforcements were sent to the city including tanks and armoured vehicles as military helicopters flew over the city. In the evening, medium weapons were fired from the checkpoints surrounding the western front while other areas were shelled by mortar bombs and tank shells.

The city is going through impossibly difficult humanitarian and living conditions amid a tight siege that has been in place since the start of the current campaign. The city is completely without potable water, electricity, flour and is running extremely low on medical supplies.
