¤ Hama City:
This morning, shabiha from the old Baath Party HQ were searching cars in the area across from al-Arz Bakery. Regime forces roamed around the industrial area, searching for specific people. They also continued to stop and search people at most checkpoints in the city. Regime forces confiscated a number of Tarateer, a rickshaw like vehicle, tied them together, and took them toward Salamieh Road. In Janoob al-Thakaneh, shabiha from the Workers Union building were seen roaming around. They do this every day, and continue roaming around until after midnight. They ask passersby for their ID cards and cell phones, and often taunt them and beat them.
