|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
Regime forces continue their raids of Hama's neighborhoods and arbitrary arrests of residents, as people continue to be stopped at checkpoints throughout the city. Also, warplanes and helicopters are seen flying to and from the Hama Military Airport throughout the day.

¤ Hama Countryside:
Al-Ghab Plain:
The Muhajireen Wal Nasar Brigade and the Saeed ibn Yazeed Battalion of Badr Brigade blew up the Masheek checkpoint using a remote-controlled vehicle. They destroyed buildings manned by regime forces and burned military machinery. 
At night, Qastoun was subject to rocket launcher shelling. 

Salamieh:
National Security forces in Salamieh called upon Ahmed Ali Yaghi, a math teacher, this afternoon, and arrested him and sent him to the Hama branch. This is his third arrest. 

Northern Hama Countryside:
Artillery shelling from al-Qabban checkpoint, which lies between Tayebt al-Imam and M'aardes, onto the area north of Tayebt al-Imam was reported. 

Eastern Hama Countryside:
Artillery shelling from al-Rahjan checkpoint was reported.

The Ahl al-Bait Brigade of Hama and the al-Islam Brigade of Damascus have combined into a single unit. Al-Islam Brigade is known to be one of the most effective and most organized fighting units in Syria.
