Events in Al Qaboun district in Damascus city since the early morning - Friday, 21/6/2013

Since the early morning, the regime's forces targeted the district with more than 6 ground-to-ground rockets for the first time ever, leading to wide scale destruction in the district. At least 6 civilians were martyred and tens of civilians got wounded, most of them still are stuck under the rubble of bombarded houses.
Intense clashes still are ongoing between the regime's forces and the FSA from the side of Damascus-Homs railway. Tanks are stationed along the railway, indiscriminately tank shelling the district as they try to invade it. Rocket launchers and mortars also are targeting the district randomly.
