Most Important Events in the City of Homs on Sunday 16/06/2013
With the continuation of the military campaign which the regime has waged against the city and suburb...s of Homs, shelling targeted the besieged neighborhood of Joorat Al Shayah. TNT barrels and mortar shells of 120 calber were used in a atack on Qarabis- Al Qasoora in addition to the dropping of barrels and use of heavy explosive ammunition from "Death Tower" (Gardenia). This took place amid the the targeting of Al Waaer with mortar and B10 shells. In Al Inshaat neighborhoods, which houses masses of internally displaced refugees, two mortar shells which were dropped on the area resulted in material damage.
In the suburbs of Homs, over 30 artillery shells rained on countless regions during continued shelling, including but not limited to the villages of Ezz Addein, Tulool Al Hamar, Hamrat, and Barigaith. Artillery shelling also targeted Ghanto, Talbiseh, and Rastan resulting in a number of injuries.
Additionally, clashes coontinued to rage between regime fores and Tawheed brigade north of Rastan.
