|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
Starting in the morning, warplanes and helicopters were seen flying to and from the military airport. Security forces and shabiha were roaming around in a 24-seater microbus and an ambulance, as well as a Hyundai van, stolen taxi cabs, motorcycles, pick-ups and an armored vehicle.
Regime forces were seen in Tareeq Halab and the Palestinian Camp, as well as in al-Souq area, particularly al-Marabet Street, Ibn al-Rushd, al-Qusour and al-Karameh. A number of people were detained from their houses or places of work in al-Karameh and al-Qusour. Regime forces at the Jesr al-Hadeed checkpoint, as well as checkpoints in the industrial area and at Ain al-Louzeh Roundabout, confiscated a number of Kia vehicles.
Workers were seen digging a hole for electrical wiring outside the governor's building.
¤ Hama Countryside:
Kafranbooda:
Large fields lit up in flames today as a result of regime shelling that started in the early morning.
Eastern Hama Countryside:
Hundreds of hectares of wheat in Kawkab village were burnt by regime forces today. An explosive device was also set off in the village.
Also, regime forces stormed Tayebt al-Esm, Krah, Khafseen, Qbaibat, and Um Hartain, where they looted and burnt houses of residents, who are fleeing with nothing.
Aerial shelling of Eqeirbat, Souha and Mas'oud was also reported, damaging many houses.
Also, the regime's army attacked Um Mail and Tal Admeh villages with heavy artillery.
Hasan al-Derzi and Amer al-Eleiwi were arrested by shabiha in al-Mab'oujeh, and were taken to Sabboura.
In the evening:
The Eqeirbat area witnessed extremely heavy shelling. The villages of Masoud, al-N'aimeya, al-Hanouteh and Souha were bombarded by fighter jets and with artillery shells.
al-Hawweejeh:
The village was targeted with artillery shells from al-Nahl checkpoint in al-Sqailbeyeh this evening.
Kafarzeita:
Warplanes were seen flying over the city in the afternoon, as crops in the surrounding area burned as a result of regime shelling.
M'aardes:
Mohammad Khaled al-Omar, a defected soldier, was arrested by regime forces who raided the town today.
In the evening, Assad regime forces raided the town for the second time, and arrested a man by the name of Kamal Abdulazeez al-Karkour.
