Rastan, Clashes rage on the front lines

Shelling of the besieged neighborhoods of Homs from several points with the use of mortar shells, artillery and rocket launchers resulted in dozens of explosions which shook the region, destroying homes. This took place amid clashes between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces from the neighborhood of Wadi Sayeh to Khalidiya.
Hezbollah forces burned Rahma Mosque and surrounding homes in Wadi Al Arab as explosive bullets were launcher from the "Death Tower" (Gardenia Tower) in an intense and indiscriminate manner.
The northern suburbs of Homs witnesses warplane flight as aircraft attacks on Rastan resulted in the complete destruction of a neihborhood and several injuries. In the town of Ghanto, clashes between the FSA and Assad forces took place on Jboorin front. A number of explosions shook the village of Dar Al Kabira, resulting in several injuries. Renewed shelling of Houla with mortar shells and rockets took place amid intermittent shelling of Palmyra Orchards from the Radio Tower.
8 points of bombardment were documented across Homs today:
Al Rastan – Al Houla – Dar Al Kabira – Al Khalidiya – Wadi Sayeh – Al Qarabis - Tadmor (Palmyra) Orchards - Talbiseh.
