*Concentrated shelling on besieged neighborhoods of
Homs, Air strikes on Hou...la and Ezz Addein, Arrrival of humanitarian aid from
Unicef for the children of Rastan*
The besieged neighborhoods of Homs were
targeted with intense mortar, rocket launcher and heavy artillery shelling at
dawn today with several attempts by regime forces to storm the region. Clashes
took place between the FSA and regime's army for extended hours , during which
the FSA was able to inflict losses on the regiomes forces in the form of lifves
and equipment. This took place amid attacks with warplanes of Houla and two
strikes on Midan in Deir Foul and Ezz Addein, resulting in the burning of
agricultural crops. Krak des Chevaliers was targeted with indiscriminate
shelling from heavy artillery and rocket launchers.
16 points of bombardment
were documented across Homs today: Krak des Chevaliers - Bab Houd - Sifsafeh -
Hamidiya - Bustan Diwan - Historical Market (Souk) - Wadi Sayeh Neighborhood -
Khalidiya - Houla - Ghanto - Midan Village - Ezz Addein - Deir Foul-Alqrabes –
Talbessa – Alrastan .
