The Most Important Events in the City of Homs "Capital of the
Syrian Revolution" - Sunday 9/6/2013
*One Martyr and Continued Shelling of
the City and its Villa...ges....In Addition to Flight of Warplanes Over Some
Regions*
In the besieged neighborhoods, the region of Wadi Sayeh witnessed
intense artillery shelling as oxygen tanks were dropped on buildings, resulting
in the ignition of fires in a number of homs. The heroes of the Free syrian Army
blocked regime attempts to storm besieged Homs. The orchards of Tadmor (Pamyra)
were targeted with shelling as the residents of Al Rastan continue to suffer
with an increase of shelling and the tightening of the siege which the city is
under.
In Al Qusair, another massacre orchestrated by Assad forces and
Hezbollah Lebanese militias has been documented, as civilians who were
attempting to flee the city were targeted. Nearly 110 martyrs were reported,
among them 40 women and children; their untimely death was the result of
shelling and slaughter by knives. In addition, dozens of families have been
reported missing.
