¤ Hama City:
Some neighborhoods of Hama city are still struggling to meet their water needs.
At around 9 o'clock morning, regime forces set off an explosive device in Janoob al-Mal'aab neighborhood, in the middle of the street across from Mahmoud Othman Agha Mosque. This came after they closed off the street, and they remained in the area for a while. In the afternoon, regime forces deployed in a number of areas, including the industrial area, al-Souq, al-Mahatta, al-Jalaa and Tareeq Halab, and some people were arrested.
In the late afternoon, security forces redeployed in Souq al-Shajara, al-Karama and al-Andalus. At least five people from al-Andalus were arrested. They were exiting the Andalus Pool next to the Workers' Union building at the time of their arrest. Sounds of gunfire were heard in Janoob al-Mal'aab, though the cause is unknown. Regime forces also deployed in the Youth Residence area and arrested a number of people.
It's important to note that Hama lives under a tight siege by regime military and security forces. Checkpoints are dispersed throughout the city, and regime forces continue to loot and raid many parts of the city. The financially situation is very difficult, especially since many merchants are taking advantage of residents in these times by overcharging them for necessary items.
Also, Assad regime forces arrested today Abdullah Tayfour at a checkpoint on Hama-Homs Road.

Qlaib al-Thour Village:
Intense clashes between regime and opposition forces broke out in Qlaib al-Thour village last night. The village lies north of al-Mufakker, south of al-Mab'oujeh and east of Aqareb. Opposition fighters gained control of the village. Activists reported that ambulances were rushing to the area all night long to transport the regime's casualties to hospitals in Salamieh.
Aqrab:
Shelling of Aqrab from a checkpoint in the pro-regime village of al-Hmairi initiated early this evening. The campaign against Aqrab has continued for more than two weeks, and the town is now overcome with destruction. Residents have completely vacated the area due to the intensity of the shelling. No relief agencies have provided any support to the people of Aqrab as of now.
Mourek:
Mohammad Alqameh Najeeb al-Hussain, age 50, and Maher Mohammad Ali al-Ghadban, age 30, were arrested at the Ain al-Louzeh checkpoint in Hama city.
Tareq Adeeb al-Naddaf, a 24-year-old, 4th year physics student at Damascus University, and Ahmed Mohammad al-Ali, age 29, were arrested at al-Qateefeh checkpoint on Damascus Road.
Al-Rahjan Village:
Opposition fighters fired a number of Grad missiles onto al-Rahjan village. One missile struck a tank at the checkpoint in the village and destroyed it.
Khattab:
Shabiha from Arzeh stormed Khattab this evening, where they raided Mohamamd Mustafa al-Wahhab's house and arrested him.
Salamieh:
Members of the Popular Committee arrested a young woman by the name of Majeda al-Khaled late this evening. She is a student at Aleppo University.
Aqareb:
Tension was high in Aqareb village today, after regime forces raided the area yesterday and arrested a number of people, including Hussam Hasan, Basem al-Mustafa and Adnan al-Fares.
Al-Ankawi Village
In the evening, tank, artillery and Doshka shelling of al-Ankawi village from al-Qahera checkpoint was reported.
