*Continous shelling of the cities and suburbs of Homs, a car bomb explosion in Al Waaer
neighborood, and regime forces' continued burning of agriculutal plots and orchards.*
The town of Al Houla and the cities of Rasta and Talbiseh experienced intense artillery and rocket launcher shelling by regime forces, resulting in several injuries. In Dar Al Kabira, artillery and Gvozdika tanks located and the Military Academy targeted Waaer neighborhood as renewed shelling with heavy artillery and rockets targeted the city of Al Qusair. Clashes in Al Qusair continue, the intensity of which has greatily increased, as FSA forces continye to bloc regime attempts to storm Al Qusair and its suburbs. Warplanes attacked the village of Al Tiba in Tadmor (Palmyra) a number of times, ho injuries or deaths were reported however.
In the neighborhood of Al Waaer, a a car bomb detonated near Majestic gas station, resulting in 4 martyrs and many injuries. Shelling of Old Homs has not calmed, with all types of heavy weaponry stationed at the Military Academy, the Ancient Citadel and the Military Security Branch targeting the region.
11 points of bombardment were documented in Homs today, with the use of various types of weapons:
Al Khalidiya - Jouret Al Shayah - Al Qarabis - Bab Hood - The Houla - Al Rastan - Dar Al Kabira - Talbisse - Al Dabaa - Al Tiba - Teir Maaleh.
