*** Recent developments on the ground***
This morning, a military convoy headed towards the city from Al-Mazzeh airport including 5 tanks, 4 armoured vehicles, 3 BMP vehicles, 13 trucks mounted with machineguns, as well as several troop-carriers, ambulances and pickup trucks.
Clashes broke out along the western front where a T72 tank was destroyed, and along Thawra Street and Almaamil Road in the southeast where another tank was damaged.
Regiment 100, the Fourth Army Division and the tanks based in the city centre continued to shell the city especially the southern and western front and to a lesser extent the eastern front.
*** Humanitarian situation***
The suffering of the displaced Darayans is increasing on a daily basis, especially those in neighbouring towns. More than 200,000 displaced people face unimaginable difficulties under siege, shelling and recurring massacres. People remaining inside Daraya are facing a far greater threat under siege and total absence of the basic necessities of life including electricity and water.
*** Medical Centre Report***
The medical team continues to provide all possible help to rescue and treat injured victims whether civilians or FSA fighters despite the extreme shortage in medical staff, equipment and material.
The field hospital received today a number of injured victims. The victims were rescued and given the necessary treatment and medication.
