| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
At 9 a.m., regime forces raided a house in al-Arb'een neighborhood, claiming that terrorists were hiding out there. It later became clear that two families from Mashaa' Wadi al-Jouz reside there. One young man was arrested, but we have not received his name. Also, Assad regime forces closed off most main and service roads in Tareeq Halab neighborhood with cement barricades, to force cars to pass through their main checkpoints. Regime forces deployed in the area surrounding Talhat al-Khair Mosque in al-Qusour neighborhood and raided a number of houses.
¤ Hama Countryside:
Helfaya:
After intense clashes between regime and opposition forces this morning, rebel fighters gained almost complete control of the thermal station residence. In the evening, regime forces heavily attacked the city with all kinds of weapons, including cluster and thermobaric bombs.
Soran:
Many warplanes were spotted flying over Soran at a low altitude this morning.
Shahshabo Mountain:
The villages of Shahshabo Mountain were subject to heavy artillery and missile shelling from the Tal Othman checkpoint
Northern Hama Countryside:
Artillery shelling of al-Zlaqeyat and al-Zakaa villages from Deir Mharde was reported
