Rocket and artillery shelling hits several neighbourhoods; clashes between FSA and Assad’s gangs; Military air force raids the city; 3 martyrs and a number of injuries; areas controlled by the regime still being looted

*** Recent developments on the ground***
The regime resumed its military campaign against the city of Daraya aiming to seize control of the city. This morning, a military convoy of 4 tanks, 2 armoured vehicles, 3 BMP vehicles, 12 DShK vehicles, and a large number of troop carriers, headed towards the city. The vehicles left in the evening loaded with looted items like furniture and goods from commercial and industrial stores.
Fierce clashes broke out between the FSA and regime gangs along the southern and western fronts as the gangs were attempting to advance on the city. Violent shelling using artillery and rocket launchers also resumed today. The shelling originated from barracks and checkpoints surrounding the city. The air force also conducted raids during the day.

*** Humanitarian situation***

The suffering of the displaced Darayans is increasing on a daily basis, especially those in neighbouring towns. More than 200,000 displaced people face unimaginable difficulties under siege, shelling and recurring massacres. People remaining inside Daraya are facing a far greater threat under siege and total absence of the basic necessities of life including electricity and water.

*** Medical Centre Report***
A few people are still suffering from toxic gas poisoning after yesterday’s attack. The medical team has been following up these cases closely with the aim of helping them achieve recovery.
The medical team continues to provide all possible help to rescue and treat injured victims whether civilians or FSA fighters despite the extreme shortage in medical staff, equipment and material.
The field hospital received today a number of injured victims. The victims were rescued and given the necessary treatment and medication.
