|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
In the early hours of the morning, intermittent gunfire was reported in multiple parts of Hama city, including the Workers' Union building and the train station in Janoob al-Thakaneh.
At 6 a.m., security forces launched an intense campaign against the neighborhoods of al-Shaikh Anbar, al-Wadi, Haret al-Jesr and Souq al-Shajara. They raided and searched most houses in search of activists and people who are wanted for military duty. The raid was harshest in al-Wadi, where the forces robbed and destroyed most houses, taunted residents, beat them and arrested two men. Intermittent gunfire was reported at the same time. It's important to note that these areas are raided daily.
Shabiha from al-Eskan checkpoint placed additional barricades at their checkpoint.
Regime forces arrested today a 27-year-old man who was driving his car in al-Bayad neighborhood. They severely beat him and then placed him in the trunk and drove away to an unknown location. We do not know why he was arrested.
In the late afternoon, shabiha from the Baath Party HQ raided al-Taweel Market and arrested a number of shop owners.
In al-Fayhaa neighborhood, a number of munitioned forces from the al-Arb'een Roundabout checkpoint raided the house of a defected soldier. They had with them a detainee whose body bore signs of torture. They asked about the defector, hit his brother, and stole a number of mobile phones. They also searched a number of houses in the surrounding area before retreating.
Zahret al-Mada'en and al-Masafi Neighborhood:
Regime forces are constantly positioned in the Zahret al-Mada'en and al-Masafi area, where they have permanent and temporary checkpoints, where they arbitrarily arrest residents. From time to time, they steal furniture from houses and the cars of residents. In one farm, furniture worth 7 million SYP was stolen. The owner wanted to go reclaim his belongings, and he was threatened with arrest if he did so.
¤ Hama Countryside:
Northern Hama Countryside:
Tayebt al-Imam was heavily shelled by regime forces at al-Qabban checkpoint, which lies between Tayebt al-Imam. The agricultural fields west of the city were targeted.
The towns of Kafarzeita and Latmeen were also subject to artillery shelling from Deir Mharde.
Zour al-Haisa village and the farms east of Helfaya were shelled early this mooring as well. Kafranbooda was also subject to the near daily shelling by regime forces at the Tal Othman checkpoint and in Braideej.
al-Ghab Plain:
This evening, opposition fighters attacked the Joureen Military Camp using mortar shells.
Kafarzeita:
The people of Kafarzeita awoke to sounds of missiles being fired from the Deir Mharde checkpoint and al-Khazanat checkpoint in Idlib. This took place after the FSA attacked a checkpoint that lies between Mourek and Kafarzeita. The artillery and missile shelling of the area from Deir Mharde, al-Shaikh Hadeed and Lahaya was renewed in the evening, and resulted in minor injuries.

After the reconnaissance unit of the Free Syrian Army spotted a military envoy of 12 pick-ups with mounted machine guns and two T-62 tanks coming from the Barri village battle front, they launched an attack. They stopped the envoy 1 km away from the area after clashes that took place under air cover by the regime's Air Force.
