Jet fighters and helicopters carry out raids against the city; violent rocket and artillery shelling; clashes continue on several fronts; city remains under tight siege; all means of life scarce due to siege
*** Recent developments on the ground***
The military air force has renewed its raids against Daraya today. Eight raids were recorded today. Helicopters also flew over the city. Meanwhile, extremely violent rocket and artillery shelling originating from Fourth Division, Regiment 100 and Al-Mazzeh airport, targeted the city for hours and is still going on up till now despite a slight decrease in intensity.
Reinforcements from Al-Mazzeh airport headed towards the southern front and the alleged Sukaina ‘Shrine’. The southern and western fronts have been the busiest with incessant clashes. Fighting started in the early morning with attempts to repel an attack carried out by over 40 military vehicles supported by shelling from MiG fighters, rockets and artillery.
Siege and storming attempts have continued into their sixth consecutive month. However, Daraya remains indomitable, resistant and inaccessible for Assad’s militias.
Later on, military reinforcements retreated from the city. Our observers recorded the exit of 4 tanks, 3 vehicles, DShK vehicles, troop carriers, in addition to ambulances carrying the dead and the injured among Assad’s militias.

Six people in total died today including a young girl from Daraya who was killed in Jedaidat AlFadl massacre. The martyrs are:

*** Humanitarian situation***
We would like to draw attention to the suffering of the displaced Darayans especially nowadays during the shelling of the city of Jedaidat Artouz, Al-Fadl Street where a large number of them live. News reports have revealed that mass executions have been committed against the civilians there including people from Daraya.
More than 200,000 displaced people live in neighbouring towns and face unimaginable difficulties under siege and shelling. People remaining inside Daraya are facing a far greater threat under siege and total absence of the basic necessities of life.
*** Medical Centre Report***
The medical team continues to provide all possible help to rescue and treat injured victims whether civilians or FSA fighters despite the extreme shortage in medical staff, equipment and material.
The field hospital received today a number of injured victims. The victims were rescued and given the necessary treatment and medication.
