|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
The tense situation in the city continues as regime forces deployed in various neighborhoods continue to frighten residents, erect temporary checkpoints, and search all those passing through the checkpoints.
This morning, three security vehicles and a lift carrying curbstones entered Kazo neighborhood. They cut off the bridge connecting Kazo and al-Dahreyeh. Also, more than 10 vehicles carrying artillery were seen traveling from al-Nesr Roundabout toward al-Eskan Roundabout today, though their ultimate destination was not clear.
In the evening, shabiha raided al-Awqaf building on al-Hader Street in al-Sharqeyeh neighborhood and arrested three people
¤ Hama Countryside:
Kafarzeita:
In the morning, checkpoints in the area surrounding Kafarzeita fired missiles onto the city, creating some structural damage. The situation was calm for the rest of the day.
Eastern Hama Countryside:
After the intense fighting between regime and opposition forces yesterday, the death of five regime forces has been confirmed. Two were from Sabboura village, two from Deir al-Shmail, and one from Thuhr al-Maghar. The regime suffered an upset, and withdrew from the area and repositioned east of Eastern Barri village. They also reinforced their base in Sabboura.
A military envoy was spotted on Raqqa Road. It carried at least eight artillery units and was headed toward Sabboura.
Five mortar shells struck Akash village. One of them hit the school in the village, two hit houses, and the rest struck the agricultural fields.
There are reports that the regime's fighter jets struck the orchards adjacent to Akash with cluster bombs, leaving some people slightly wounded.
Last night, heavy shelling targeted the area east of Barri village amid clashes.
In Salamieh city, People's Committee's forces raided the houses of refugees in the city.
Warplanes were also seen flying over the eastern suburbs as well.
In the evening, intense clashes broke out between regime forces and the FSA in the villages of Abu Hbailat and al-Hardaneh amid ongoing shelling from the artillery battalion near Eastern Barri village, targeting the villages of the area.

Bashar al-Mahalli, age 28
al-Hamameyat:
Intense gunfire from the al-Hamameyat Hill checkpoint toward farms in the area was reported.
