An appalling massacre was committed by regime forces in Jobar neighborhood where they bombed the area of "Bayader Jadiyeh" with several shells, which led to the fall of 4 martyrs and several wounded and at the advent of paramedics to rescue the wounded, regime forces targeted the same place with mortars which led to the fall of another 4 martyrs of paramedics, bringing the number of martyrs to at least 8 martyrs and several wounded.
In the south of the capital, towns have witnessed a very violent bombardment with all types of weapons including warplanes bombing that was focused on Sbeineh and Qadam. FSA, in these areas, was able to achieve important victories against the regime's army, that retaliated by shelling residential neighborhoods.
Despite the shelling and the dire humanitarian conditions, peaceful protests were held in: Assali, Hajar Aswad of Damascus, and the towns of Saqba, Zamalka, KufarBatna, Arbeen, Douma, Deir Atiyeh, Yabroud, Assal AlWard, Qarah, Mliha, and Beit Sahem in Damascus suburbs.
