¤ Hama City:
This morning, security forces deployed in Janoob al-Mal'aab neighborhood with three armored vehicles and a number of pick-up trucks. They spread out in the area surrounding Mashaa' Janoob al-Mal'aab at around 11:30 a.m, and reportedly raided a number of houses. People passing through checkpoints were searched. Another armored vehicle and pick-up were seen in Tareeq Halab neighborhood, where two snipers positioned on the rooftop of the building east of al-A'laf Roundabout, across from the A'laf center from one direction, and across from Omar ibn al-Khattab Mosque in the other direction.
In the afternoon, the FSA killed a security force on the Bab al-Balad Slope. Afterwards, security forces deployed in al-Marabet Street and closed off stores and streets for a short period of time. They deployed in al-Faraya, al-Barazeyeh and Bab al-Balad, and waged a campaign of arbitrary arrests amid gunfire for more than an hour. Afterwards, security forces deployed at the start of al-Dabagha Slope and checked the ID cards of passersby.
Another security force was killed by the FSA across from the records building on al-Baroudeyeh Street. Afterward, security forces deployed on the street and in al-Manakh, with armored vehicles and BMP tanks. They launched a campaign of arbitrary arrests and summarily executed on man.
In the late afternoon, security forces set off an explosive device in al-Bayad neighborhood near the Societal Affairs checkpoint. They also robbed a number of shops in the area.
A temporary checkpoint was set up at the Pullman Garage. Security forces deployed in the area and closed of Ain al-Louzeh Street for some time. Five freight trucks and a forklift carrying three medium artillery and 7 anti-aircraft artillery were seen moving toward the Pistachio Directorate and entering it. It's important to note that the area is a shabiha base. Also, another temporary checkpoint was set up at the intersection of Freedom Bridge and the Citadel Roundabout.
