Violent clashes in several areas and the FSA continues to clear buildings; Fierce artillery and rocket shelling; 1 martyr and a number of injuries; siege tightens causing dire need for medical, food and fuel supplies
*** Recent developments on the ground***
Regime forces continued their siege and shelling of the city of Daraya as well as their attempts to seize control of the city. This morning, a military convoy supported by 8 tanks, 2 armoured vehicles, 4 BMP vehicles, as well as several DShK and troop-carrying vehicles moved towards the city. Meanwhile, violent rocket and artillery shelling continued to target residential neighbourhoods indiscriminately killing 1 person and injuring many more. Regime forces tightened their siege of the cities of Daraya and Muaddamiya during the past week by closing all access points between the two cities.
Violent clashes were also broke out as the FSA continued to clear buildings from infiltrating regime fighters around Liberty Square, Almujamma Area, and the alleged Sukaina ‘shrine’.
Military jetfighters also flew over the city and raided the nearby city of Sbeineh.

*** Humanitarian situation***
More than 200,000 people have fled Daraya and they are living in horrible humanitarian conditions amid dire need for all the necessities of life especially food.
As for the defiant city of Daraya, the people are living in complete lack of electricity, water and food amid a strict siege blocking all entrance points to the city.
Arrest campaigns continue against the displaced people of Daraya in their places of residence and on all checkpoints in Damascus city and Damascus Countryside towns.
*** Medical Centre Report***
The medical team continues to provide all possible help to rescue and treat injured victims whether civilians or FSA fighters despite the extreme shortage in medical staff, equipment and material.
The field hospital received today 4 injured victims whose situations were between medium-serious and fair. The victims were rescued and given the necessary treatment and medication.

• A number of soldiers including a sniper on the Old Corniche
• A number of soldiers including a sniper near the Cultural Centre
• Along Sahnaya –Jedaideh Road which runs alongside Daraya
• Aldahadeel Road between Hammam Alqishani and Alsalam Mosque
• Snipers spread in the vicinity the above areas targeting any moving body.
