|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
Regime forces were deployed throughout the city today, arbitrarily arresting residents and raiding different area. Warplanes continue to fly over the city, and artillery shells and missiles were launched from the Hama Military Airport toward the city's suburbs.
Security forces arrested a man on al-Mugheela Street, though we have no details on his identity.
They also raided al-Akrad Lane near al_Eskan checkpoint. They arrested a man there and confiscated his car.
In the evening, the sniper at the Workers' Union building arbitrarily opened fire toward Janoob al-Thakaneh Neighborhood. Anti-regime demonstrations were also held in a number of the city's neighborhoods.
¤ Hama Countryside:
The Free Syrian Army liberated the villages of al-Khareeja and Um Mail in Hama's eastern suburbs. The regime responded by bombarding the area with artillery shells.
Eastern Hama Countryside:
Eqeirbat Area:
At around 6 a.m. today, rockets began being fired from Barri al-Sharqi toward the Eqeirbat area. The shelling took place amid military operations by the Farouq Battalions in the area. They liberated the Souha checkpoint completely, and attacked the checkpoint of Admeh village and entered Um Mail village.
Security forces also erected a temporary checkpoint on Salamieh-Tal al-Tout Road. A number of cars belonging to shabiha headed toward the eastern suburbs.
Souha Village:
Members of the al-Asha'er WalQaryatain Company of the Islamic Farouq Battalions attacked the checkpoint in Souha village, where there were about 60 regime forces who were killed. The fighters gained complete control of the checkpoint, damaged a T-72 tank and captured another. They also seized special weaponry, including a 14.5 mm machine gun. Afterward, the headed to the pro-regime village of Um Mail and engaged in clashes with forces there.
Three fighters were martyred in these battles.
Kafarzeita:
The farms adjacent to Kafarzeita were targeted with missiles launched from al-Khazanat checkpoint in Khan Shaikhoon, Idlib. The shelling was less violent than it has been recently. At night, the regime bombarded the city with mortar shells, causing structural damage.
Shahshabo Mountain:
More than 10 missiles struck Shouleen village of Shahshabo Mountain, destroying a number of houses.
Kafranbooda:
The regime's helicopters dropped explosive barrels on the town today
