|| Situation in the City and Countryside ||
¤ Hama City:
The residents of Hama city continue to suffer from the siege imposted by regime forces, who search cars at military checkpoints on a daily basis.
FSA forces killed a shabiha thug at al-Furuseyeh Roundabout. Afterwards, security forces deployed in the area and searched some houses.
A yellow taxi cab was spotted in Janoob al-Mal'aab, bearing the license plate number 1955. It was driven by security forces in plainclothes.
In the evening, according to State TV sources
A booby-trapped car was dismantled. It carried 17 explosive devices and 1400 kg of explosives and was stationed near the Kazo Roundabout.
Security forces were deployed in al-Bernawi and on the main road near the Kazo checkpoint.
Some of the checkpoints overlooking al-Karameh Neighborhood:
1. Workers Union: in al-Mahatta Neighborhood, overlooking a number of buildings in the neighborhood
2. al-Qasbashi (Kazo): northeast of al-Karameh
3. The secretary of the Baath Party branch building
4. Train station checkpoint: southwest of al-Karameh
5. al-Jamarek: 100 meters west of the neighborhood
6. Military Airport: southwest of the neighborhood
¤ Hama Countryside:
In the early hours of the morning, helicopters were spotted flying over Kafarzeita, Kafranbooda and Kernaz.
Tayebt al-Imam:
A large number of regime forces stormed Tayebt al-Imam and deployed throughout the city, going on campaigns of raids and arrests. A tank and armored vehicle were stationed on Tayebt al-Imam-M'aardes Road, and another tank and armored vehicle were on Tayebt al-Imam-Qamhaneh Road.
Shahshabo Mountain: Sutouh al-Deir Village:
At least ten rockets and heavy artillery shells struck the village earlier today.
Aqrab:
Gvozdika shelling of al-Ta'ouneh village targeted houses in the village as warplanes were flying over the area. A warplane dropped explosive barrels on the nearby al-Houla area.
Eastern Hama Countryside:
Two shells were dropped on Kabaseen village as shabiha from Sabboura and al-Sa'en villages prepared for an invasion of Kabaseen.
Southern Hama Countryside: Tal Qartal:
Yesterday, Assad regime forces arrested the following:
1. Ahmed al-Eleiwi, 40 years old with 10 children
2. Waleed Diab, age 17
They were arrested at the 47th Brigade checkpoint while returning from Hama city. Their car was confiscated and they were taken to the military security branch.
