*** Recent developments***
It was just another day in Daraya during which shelling continued and reinforcements kept coming. Despite the difficult day they underwent, Daraya’s brave people took to the streets in a demonstration commemorating the 2nd anniversary of the Syrian Revolution. From amid the rubble, the demonstrators demanded freedom, the fall of the regime and an end to the siege.
The reinforcements came to Daraya this morning from Al-Mazzeh airport via the Southern Circular Road and entered the city on this day 123 of the battle to seize control of the city. A military convoy made of 6 tanks, 4 BMP vehicles and a large number of troop-carriers was seen moving towards the city. Meanwhile, shelling against the city has continued using artillery and rocket launchers based on the outskirts of the city. Shelling concentrated on the western area of Daraya. FSA fighters foiled an attempt to advance near Liberty Square in the early hours of the day. Fierce clashes also broke out near Sukaina Shrine where Assad’s forces’ attempts were also thwarted.
Two years of the march towards freedom have passed and Daraya continues to bid farewell to her children on a daily basis. Today, seven martyrs, including FSA fighters and civilians, were recorded.

*** Humanitarian situation***
The humanitarian situation is extremely awful amid a total blackout and a complete lack in the necessities of life. The situation for displaced people is also getting worse with time as their needs increase with time.
*** Medical Centre Report***
The medical team continues to provide all possible help to rescue and treat injured victims whether civilians or FSA fighters despite the extreme shortage in medical staff, equipment and material.
The field hospital received today 15 victims The victims were rescued and given the necessary treatment and medication.
Infiltrating Assad gangs are located in these areas
• A number of soldiers including a sniper in Liberty Square
• A number of soldiers including a sniper near Alsamh Mosque
• A number of soldiers including a sniper around Alkholani Mosque
• A number of soldiers including a sniper around Alnakkashat area and the police station
• A number of soldiers including a sniper around Alshamiat
• A number of soldiers including a sniper hiding inside homes near the Graveyard and Municipality square
• Along Sahnaya –Jedaideh Road which runs alongside Daraya
• Aldahadeel Road between Hammam Alqishani and Alsalam Mosque
• Snipers spread in the vicinity the above areas targeting any moving body.
