5- Martyr Anwar Abdullah Al Ileiwy Al Jlood, a soldier who defected from the Assad forces , and died in Damascus today while attempting to desert the Tamico company checkpoint, where he was shot by the air defense battalion regime snipers stationed by the checkpoint. He was originally from Al Sha’fa, Deir Ezzor.

6- Unidentified martyr, Deir Ezzor FSA member, a sergeant major who defected from Assad army, and who died in Damascus in Al Maliha while trying to help the soldier defect.
Deir Ezzor:
The military campaign against Deir Ezzor marks today its 233rd consecutive day. Deir Ezzor suffered severe shelling with heavy artillery hitting most of the city. Assad regime military aircrafts conducted a series of raids over Al Hawiqeh, Al Urthi, as well a Tkaya street, while the FSA clashed with Assad forces in various neighborhoods, especially in Al Hawiqeh, where the FSA succeeded and was able to take control of the Technical Services building for the second time, and a number of Assad soldiers were captured.

Deir Ezzor rural province:
A number of protests were held in Al Quriyeh & Al Mayatheen, calling for freedom and the downfall of the Assad regime, expressing support for the disaster stricken cities of Syria. Meanwhile, Assad aircrafts continued to bomb Al Salhiyeh village. The western part of rural Deir Ezzor remains without power or water for the second consecutive day as a result of the regime’s brutal attack.
