Deir Ezzor City ::
The military campaign on Deir Ezzor continues for the 226th day, with ruthless shelling of the city neighborhoods, including Al Hamidiyeh, Al Hawiqeh, Al Jbeileh, Al Sheikh Yaseen and Al Urthi, with ongoing clashes between the FSA and Assad forces. Al Jbeileh & Al Hawiqeh (near the political security building) witnessed particularly fierce clashes. Military aircrafts continued to roam over Deir Ezzor, shelling the area by Al Jandoul café near Ghassan Aboud Circle. Yet despite the severe shelling, Deir Ezzor residents held numerous protests reiterating their support of the FSA, calling for the downfall of the Assad regime.

Deir Ezzor Rural Areas ::
Abu Kamal:
A massive protest was held today, at the great mosque in the middle of Al Huriyah square, to express support for the stricken cities of Syria.
Mayadeen:
From the Salam and Rwada mosques were held two demonstrations today, to reiterate support for Deir Ezzor, and Ra’s Al Aein, as well as all Syrian cities, condemning the dreadful silence on behalf of the Islamic, Arab and international communities regarding the daily massacres of the Syrian people. Demonstrators called for the execution of Assad, chanting their support for the FSA.
Large protests were also held in Al Quriyeh, as well Al Jurthi and Buqrus, declaring their support for the FSA, calling for the fall of the Assad regime.
Al Husseiniye and Hatla were the target of severe shelling by Assad forces located at the Deir Ezzor military airport, especially Al ma’amel area.
The Western side of the province continues to suffer for a power outage for the 4th consecutive day.
