-Manar Al-Jouri, female, originally from Deir Ezzor city, martyred after she was shot by the regime forces at the Military Security Branch in Raqqa Province, which led to her paralyses and then death (09-January-2013)

::DEIR EZZOR CITY::
The city was subjected to intense shelling by the regime, as part of the military campaign on the city, which has now completed 211 days. Shelling targeted many neighborhoods in the city, including:
-Al-Jbeileh
-Hamidiyeh
Military aircrafts were spotted flying over the city in large numbers.
The following neighborhoods saw intense clashes between the FSA and regime forces:
-Hawiqeh
-Al-Jbeileh
-Khasarat
The inhabitants of Deir Ezzor city are living in awful humanitarian conditions, for as the temperature continues to drop, the city’s lack of electricity, fuel and basic food and necessities is continuing.
