Latest developments in the capital Damascus and its suburbs

After fierce clashes and a suffocating siege that lasted for more than 20 days, regime forces stationed on the strategic Mehrajan Barrier on the city entrance, withdrew from the city along with all the tanks and armored vehicles.
A whole family (a mother and her children) got martyred in airstrikes on Jisreen town in Eastern Ghouta.
Heavy missile shelling targeted the southern neighborhoods of the capital, especially Hajar Aswad neighborhood and Jame'iyat area in Sbeineh neighborhood, while a car bomb exploded near Soyoufi bakery in Yarmouk camp.
