A car bomb exploded in Rayjeh squra in Yarmouk Camp, leading to many casualties and causing considerable damage in the area. Clashes continued between FSA and regime forces at the police station in the camp and in Tlateen Street, amid heavy tanks shelling.
FSA controlled the road between Sayeda Zainab and Damascus airport, and clashed with regime forces in an area 500 m away from Sayda Zainab shrine and in different areas near the airport.
A massacre was committed by regime forces in Mo'adamiyat Al-Sham when they shelled the city heavily killing at least 9 people.
For the first time, MiG jet stroke Assal Al-Ward area, which led to one martyr and many injuries including a woman. MiG Jets also stroke many cities and villages in Damascus's suburbs like, Darayya, Douma, Kafar Batna, Erbeen, Shebaa, Deir Al-Asafeer, and Mliha.
Despite the shelling on areas and the heavy presence of regime forces in others, peaceful protests were held in:
Jobar, Barza, Hajar Aswad, Assali, and Qadam in Damascus.
Darayya, Douma, Harasta, Erbeen, Saqba, Hammouryeh, Yabroud, Qarah, Nabek, Tall, Mliha, Kiswa, Yelda, Babbila, Ziyabiyeh, and Hajjera in Damascus's suburbs.
