::DEIR EZZOR CITY::
For the 179th day, Deir Ezzor city was bombarded with artillery and mortar shells of the Assad regime, in addition to tanks firing and military aircrafts and helicopters dropping missiles, explosive TNT barrels and cluster bombs onto it.
From the early hours of the morning, the neighborhoods of the city were subjected to intense shelling with mortar and artillery rounds, mainly focusing on:
-Hamidiyeh
-Sheikh Yaseen
-Al0Urdi
-Ar-Rushdiyeh
The tanks and artillery stationed on the Jabal (mountain) fired at Al-Omal neighbourhood.
MiG fighter jets carried out several aerial strikes on the neighborhoods of:
-Al-Jbeileh
-Muathafeen
Columns of smoke were also seen rising from the two neighborhoods Al-Arfi and Masakin Al-Hizb, as a result of the destruction and burning of several homes and shops as a result of the heavy shelling. There were also several casualties.
Al-Jura neighborhood is currently occupied by the regime forces, and it witnessed a campaign of raids and arrests carried out by the Assad gangs and shabiha, reinforced and supported by several military vehicles. This is the 8th consecutive day of arrests, which has meant dozens of the inhabitants of the neighborhood and the people who had moved to it have been taken. The neighborhood’s inhabitants are also suffering from the continuing shortage in basic food necessities, mainly bread, as a result of the suffocating siege on the city and the fact that no flour is being distributed in the city.
A protest was carried out by the students in a school in the occupied Al-Jura neighborhood, in support of the other neighborhoods that are being subjected to the brutal and daily shelling, and also in support of the FSA.

The towns and villages in the eastern rural Deir Ezzor were subjected to intense shelling by the regime’s military aircrafts. The towns and villages include:
-Al-Bouamr
-Al-Mireiyeh
-Mouhassan
The villages of Mathloum and Hattlah were also targeted by regime military aircrafts, resulting in massive damage to civilian homes and many casualties. There is also mass migration of the village inhabitants as a result of the continuous shelling, which has been going on for several days.
