Fierce clashes resumed for the 10th day in a row between the FSA and regime forces supported by aerial raids by MiG fighter jets and Sukhoi warplanes as well land support from tanks, rockets and heavy artillery shelling. FSA could rebel all regime's forces attempts to storm the city, destroying many vehicles and causing many losses in the regime's side.
FSA liberated air defence Battalion (666) in Sayeda Zainab after fierce clashes made regime's forces withdraw from the battalion after losing many of their soldiers and vehicle. Hajjira, Husayniyee, Ziyabiyee, and Bahdaliyee vilage which are located around the battalion were shelled heavily, in an attempt to stay on control of the battalion.
Shelling continued on Eastern Ghouta, and on the southern neighborhoods of the capital Damascus such as Qadam, Assali, Yarmouk Camp, Hajar Aswad, and Jobar.
