Latest developments in the capital Damascus and its suburbs:
Monday 12th of November, 2012 until 8.30 pm [Syria time]

Since morning, regime forces shelled several districts in the capital Damascus, with heavy artillery and tanks. The shelling was concentrated on Yarmouk Camp and Tadamun neighborhoods, which led to the fall of 6 martyrs in Yarmouk camp and large numbers of wounded in addition to causing massive destruction in the targeted areas.
Jobar neighborhood was also targeted with heavy shelling that claimed the lives of 3 martyrs and injured many people. The violent clashes continued in Tadamun, Yarmouk & Palestinian camps, and Teshreen neighborhoods.
Airstrikes was resumed on Damascus suburbs after it was stopped for bad weather, and especially on the areas in Eastern Ghota.
A new massacre was perpetrated by regime forces in Thiyabiyee, where they slit the throats of 11 people in the town.
More than 40 martyrs in Damascus and its suburbs.
