Death toll in Homs rose to 13 on the 148th day of siege and indiscriminate bombardment on the province. 5 martyrs fell in besieged Deir Balbeh district, which is being extensively bombarded by the regime's forces using all types of weaponry; the regime's forces stationed on the barrier near the petrochemicals college and those in pro-regime Al Abbaseyyeh district are the ones mainly hysterically targeting Deir Ba'lbeh district.

There is not a single medical point or any doctor remaining in the entire Deir Ba'lbeh district and thus far, 14 of the injuries are critical and need urgent medical attention.

• General situation in the district today:
The regime's forces intensified their indiscriminate bombardment on the district for the 7th day in a row using mortar bombs, missile launchers and tanks as aircrafts flew overhead. The siege imposed on the area continues with nothing allowed in or out and no injuries able to be evacuated.
More than 100 shells have fallen on the residential houses, amongst them 10 shells near Abo Baker Al Sedeeq mosque. Smoke is billowing from the district and several houses have set alight due to the bombardment. The regime's forces also continue to attempt to invade the district from the side of Al Setteen Street where clashes are taking place.
5 fell martyrs as well as over 30 injuries.
Do note that Deir Ba'lbeh district is heavily populated & as the extensive bombardment is targeting houses, civilians get wounded, but there is not a single medical point in Deir Ba'lbeh district. Therefore, anyone who gets wounded stands on brink of death.

The regime's security and Shabiha (thugs) forces set up an imaginary barrier on the beginning of Tal'et Rakan area near Al Majestic station; they began carefully searching the passerby. Jasem Mohamad Alhameed was martyred after being shot in front of his home.
* Almubarkeyeh:
The helicopters flew above the area and fired TNT barrels.
* Al Sa'en village:
The village continues to be subjected to very intense and indiscriminate bombardment as more than 50 tank shells fell on the area, specifically targeting Hosh Hajjo and Hosh Agha areas, leading to the injury of several civilians (some of whom got severely wounded). Also, the bombardment led to the destruction to a number of house. The regime's forces have also fired a weird type of gas, most likely to be a nerve gas.

The regime's security and Shabiha (thugs) forces continue to ban civilians from entering or leaving the city as they also ban access to provisions and medical aid. The destiny of those kidnapped still is unknown up until now, and it is very much likely that the regime is intending to commit massacres against them.
* Al Ghanto:
The regime's helicopters are hovering all over the town whilst the intense tanks shelling continues to indiscriminately target it. Also, the regime's forces continue to open gunfire heavily using heavy machine guns and anti-aircrafts. The bombardment is being carried out by the regime's forces stationed in pro-regime Jaboureen village.

The regime's forces still are besieging the city. Civilians trapped within continue to suffer as the bombardment targets them diurnally. A body was returned tortured to death by pro-regime areas nearby, expected to belong to a young man of 25 years of age.
